Women still want ambition and status in a man. Men still want attractiveness and youthfulness in a woman.

I think the summary overemphasizes the differences between men and women, though. I recall another David Buss paper (which I don’t have on hand) that showed both men and women want loving partners most, but down the list there were some differences in priorities.
