Hi #nostr I’m trying to migrate my nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct node from a Raspberry Pi 4 that boots from a MicroSD (1T SSD which forced me to prune the blockchain) > > to a Raspberry Pi 5 (2T SSD) which boots directly from the SSD. Any recommendation so i don’t lose my nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm lightning channels which i use for zaps ? Or other relevant data? Also, last time i had to sync the blockchain it tool almost 2 weeks: does my old node need to be turned off while the blockchain of the new one syncs? Anyway, any guide, tips, warnings, etc? #asknostr THANKS FOR THE HELP 💜⚡️

Yea I had the same issue. I ended up closing all my lightning channels and moving funds completely off my node, to be safe and sure I don’t end up loosing anything. I disconnected my old ssh 1tb with the old data and connected my new drive and installed umbrel. Now instead of downloading the entire block chain again from scratch I actually reconnected my old 1tb that had all the blockchain data downloaded already and I copied the data folder from old drive to the new one and rebooted. Boom data was all there, just missing a few percent which took a day or 2 to complete.
