Perhaps an unpopular opinion:
I need my money to be money.
I don’t need it to be smart.
I don’t need it to have programmable contracts.
I don’t need my money to become the new internet and do fancy tricks for me.
I need my money to be unconfiscatable,
as private as possible,
Non-inflationary with a hard cap (Non negotiable).
I have no desire for my money to come with a load bells and whistles.

That in itself is limiting and censoring. If it's a database then it's not money any more is it?
It's either money or it's not.
Am I missing something here? Why is discouraging non monetary use a bad idea just because you can't stop it completely?

Bitcoin core is not the central source of truth when it comes to bitcoin. Their history and current tea. Their character, actions, past and its dynamic are all very questionable in my mind. I don’t think they have bitcoin best interest at heart but that doesn’t mean lukejr is a saint. But knots side makes a reasonable argument for bitcoin being strictly money and core rather than engage with in discourse decides to go on the attack. Can you blame knots supporters for associated this with pro pedo behavior?
