America functioned just fine for more than 150 years without requiring photo IDs. The state has spent decades normalizing "showing ID" for more and more activities, so that now you have been conditioned to not think twice about doing it. Now 3 states are about to require age verification to download any application through the Play Store or Apple's app store. This is not ok. We are not ok. The people of Texas should be rioting in the streets over this but most people are incapable of second order thinking and are dismissing this as a minor inconvenience.
