What Texas did with Delta 8, taking a legal product and making it worse than cocaine legally overnight by decree with no vote, is a great reminder of how quickly the state can make anything it wants a crime arbitrarily.
The only things that should be considered crimes are actions that have victims. Voluntary transactions between consenting adults have no victim, and should not be a crime.

Sal and Mark - EP15
Sal and Mark are back with a big episode. Jeffrey Tucker, one of the most well known voices in the liberty movement and founder of the Brownstone I...
In Wisconsin, #Flock was used as a pretext to search a man's car for weed solely based on the fact that he had driven to Michigan multiple times.
Wait a minute....
But I was told these Flock cameras were just for finding missing children, violent criminals, and car thieves!
If you actually believed that, you don't understand how the government works. Everything in government starts small and reasonable. Such as the history of social security numbers.
As time goes on though, all government programs expand and grow far beyond the original stated goals. Governments are kind of like thousands of different parasites joined together. Flock Cameras are one parasitic program among many, and it cannot stop growing or it dies.
These cameras will continue to be updated to collect more and more different kinds of data, that data will be retained for longer and longer periods of time, and that data will be used for more and more things.
They will be used to track down suspects and prosecute them for every victimless or minor crime you can think of.
-cannabis or other drug "crimes"
-minor traffic infractions
-truancy
-protest attendance
-curfew violations
-tracking down people who owe child support, back taxes, etc
-a whole list of technical probation or parole violations that normally would of been hard to prove, but with Flock you better hope your PO likes you
-Vandalism
-Trespassing
This opens a Pandora's Box. Imagine a police officer or city official doesn't like the political things you say on social media. They can type in your X username into Flock's dashboard and it will immediately bring up any vehicles associated with you. From your movements over the past 3 months, the Flock AI will be able to find SOMETHING to get you on. That's because no matter how perfect you think you are, no matter if you pay your taxes and have followed the rules your entire life, you are probably still guilty of a couple. crimes without even realizing it.
And one by one, just like in Stalinist Russia, whoever has access to Flock can use it to get anyone they want arrested. It's a lot harder to vote if you are in jail.
Cops will use it to get their numbers up and justify their inflated budgets. Politicians will use it to target their opponent's supporters. Courts will become clogged, jails will fill up, poor communities will be devastated.
It's easy to see what's coming.
It's a lot harder to stop it.
It must be stopped, now, before they can use Flock to destroy the #deflock movement.
Toxic bitcoin maximalism has set the battle to get people to self custody back years.
Toxic bitcoin maximalism has decimated the ranks of DCAers and hodlers who support the price during bear and bull.
Toxic bitcoin maximalism has stifled innovation and held bitcoin back from achieving it's mission.
Toxic bitcoin maximalists have rejected cypherpunk principles and gotten in bed with Wall Street and the government.
Toxic #bitcoin maximalists have attacked countless people who dare to even discuss shitcoins for being "scammers" while simultaneously promoting #coldcard which scammed people into thinking they were highly secure.
Thank God I only wanted hardware wallets that also supported shitcoins.

According to Dylan LeClair, "It should be said very clearly there is nothing wrong with white glove multisig solutions, collaborative custody, or *gasps* even ETFs."
I disagree entirely. There actually is something wrong with ETFs. The west is no longer safe. Governments can and will seize funds for arbitrary reasons, western governments are rapidly becoming very authoritarian. ETFs and custodians might feel safe, but they are most definitely not safe.
Any custody solution that involves using your real identity is not safe because of leaks and the criminals who take advantage of these leaks.
There are risks and these risks are often withheld from new bitcoiners. I think some bitcoin maxis are more concerned with acquiring new converts for NGU than with being honest about the risks. Bitcoin is not easy, it is not fun, but do it right and it means freedom from slavery.

One of the most terrifying policies of the Trump administration is that you can now land yourself on a fucking FBI terrorism watchlist if an AI model thinks you are expressing views including but not limited to these extremely broad categories of "anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity;…extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality." Can arguing against statism from an anarcho capitalist perspective be conaidered "anti-American"? Probably. Anything they want can be considered "anti-American"...
Bro what the fuck? It's 1950s style McCarthyism supercharged by an AI powered technocracy.
If you post anything even remotely controversial it may be time to scrub your timeline and become anon if you are doxxed. It is not safe to be political under your real name. What Republican voters might not understand is that once Trump's FBI pops the Minority Report cherry, there is no going back. The same tools can and will be used by a Democrat administration. This isn't good for ANYONE.

Minority report: FBI seeks AI for political watch list
Documents show the FBI seeking AI tools to flag Americans before they act, as the terror watchlist's focus moves toward domestic dissent.
If representational democracy worked at scale, America wouldn't constantly be fighting wars that the majority of people don't want to fight.
It's a LARP. The ruling class only cares what the "people" want in regards to preventing outright revolt and their own deaths. Beyond that bare minimum, they could care less.
The American system of government is just a really fancy way to enslave people without them even realizing they are slaves.
It was probably started with good intentions of enabling liberty and peace while restraining government, but that failed a long time ago.
You can restart the game 1000 times and it will always fail and end in slavery. Instead of repeatedly failing, we have to install an entirely different game.
It's called #voluntaryism.

Flock Safety is trying to frame being anti flock as a position of the far left.
Stopping warrantless surveillance is not a right versus left issue, it has bipartisan support across the country.
Flock is desperate, you are going see more of these kinds of tactics.
-trying to associate the deflock movement with completely unrelated groups on the far left
-swarms of pro flock bots and paid influencers on social media. Anyone expressing pro flock opinions is likely either naive, has been paid, or is a bot.
-lots of "we found this missing person or solved this crime with a flock camera" exaggerated and fake news stories.
Flock Safety has a huge profit incentive to destroy this movement, the amount of money on the line is staggering. That's because they aren't just selling cameras, they are selling subscriptions to a powerful surveillance database at 3k a year per camera. Do the math, an Orwellian nightmare makes them rich and they will live unsurveilled in gated citadels while the masses are watched 24/7.
These pro Flock accounts like AM86613302...here usually have very few followers and screen names with lots of numbers.

Flockhopper is a new app designed to help people plan their routes to avoid as many Flock cameras possible.
I haven't vetted it so use at your own risk.

Flock Safety cameras are being removed from cities across America, both through legal and "illegal" methods.
I think the success of the deflock movement is a sign that people have been pushed just little too far by the surveillance state. The frogs have realized the water is boiling and they are trying to jump out of the pot .
It is a demonstration of what ordinary people can accomplish. The state is powerful, but it is not invincible. Doomscrolling can make people forget that and lose hope. This is what the ruling class wants, hopeless people who think resistance is futile and just watch more tiktok instead of doing anything about the egregious violations of their rights occuring on a daily basis.
But as deflock has shown, things are NOT hopeless as long as people are willing to stand together against those who want to enslave them.
So keep fighting the good fight, privacy is an essential element of a free society. There are still many people who don't even realize what a Flock Camera is or why it is so dangerous, so a lot of work remains. If we sustain the momentum we have now though, Flock Safety cameras will be a bad memory soon enough.
If so, then what? Well then we move on to the next surveillance apparatus and dismantle it until our privacy, freedom, and dignity are restored.
No, you will not be scanning my face.
No, you will not be verifying my identity just to use the internet.
No, you will not be listening to my conversations.
No, you don't need to know what I spend my money on.
#Deflock it all.

Give your children the experience of using cash early and often. Normalize it for them or they will end up like all the other kids using payment apps for everything. The government will track every transaction they make from childhood to adulthood. It's up to you to teach them about cash because their peers aren't going to do it.
In Minecraft, it would be cool if some brave soul stuck hidden GPS trackers on every cop car and made a super secret app to track them all 24/7.
Then you could theoretically avoid most encounters with the state.
Consider forgoing the incremental gain in convenience you get from using payment apps and debit cards and using cash instead.
If people don't use cash, eventually they will be able to get rid of it without anyone protesting.
If noone uses cash, businesses won't feel the need to accept it. We will have voluntarily switched entirely to a system where every cent is monitored.
We can delay this aspect of our dystopia by simply taking the little bit of effort to use cash more often.
This is something anybody can do to make a difference and gain more freedom for themselves and others.
There is a pratical advantage as well, it is psychologically harder to spend cash than to swipe a card or use your phone. You are parting with a physical representation of your time and labor, it makes it real.
Use cash.
I see a lot of people confused about what Flock cameras actually are. This is not just an automated license plate reader to catch amber alerts and stolen vehicles. It is so much worse.
These cameras are logging license plates and car details such as dents and bumper stickers billions (with a B) of times a month, saving those movements into a database and correlating that data with a myriad of other data points.
A cop can enter something like a telegram handle, phone number, email, SSN, or even just a keyword and get every car associated with that data point, and study the exact movements of those cars over an extended period of time. All without a warrant.
With that kind of data they can learn everything about your entire life. Who you hang out with, who you fuck, what medical problems you have, how often you drink, etc.
Why do they need to collect and store this kind of information on law abiding citizens? It's not to protect you. If someone is a danger to society, go present evidence to a judge and get a fucking warrant. Otherwise, fuck off. This kind of surveillance power should not be trusted to law enforcement. There have already been dozens of confirmed cases of police officers using the database to stalk innocent people. If this many have been caught, how many have gotten away with it? Law enforcement officers are well known to commit domestic violence at a much higher rate than civilians. Before Flock the victims of these abusers could at least move away and hide from them, now they can't hide because we have handed their abusers the keys to a powerful surveillance system with little oversight and no warrant requirements.

New Hampshire just signed into law some awesome homeschooling legislation.
"- Eliminates mandatory homeschool notification requirements.
- Removes mandatory annual evaluation and recordkeeping requirements.
- Clearly recognizes a parent’s right to establish a home education program.
- Preserves parents’ ability to voluntarily maintain records, transcripts, and certificates of completion.
- Limits unnecessary government involvement in home education"
I sound like a boomer but there was a time in this country, before boomer existed, when you could be raised/educated and live your entire life without the federal government even knowing you existed. Society did not collapse.
Now they are all up in your shit from the second you are born, to a disturbing degree.
I sincerely believe keeping your children out of the public school system is important for their future and America's future.
Homeschooled students also outperform public school students on standardized tests by 15-25% and are more likely to be accepted to college.

I keep seeing people ask why does the proliferation of Flock Cameras even matter since we are already being tracked through our cell phones.
1) Most importantly you can opt out of phone tracking (leaving phone at home, faraday bags, graphene OS, dumb phones, etc.), but you can't opt out of Flock Cameras or Signal Trace.
2) Unlike Flock Safety, Google and Apple doesn't offer a subscription service for any law enforcement agency to freely browse that phone data. To get it, LEOs have to pick a specific target and get a court order. Dragnet style vacuuming up of phone location data has been ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
3) Most people are aware of phone based tracking, many cities did not get citizen input before putting up Flock Cameras, meaning many people had no idea they were being tracked.
4) Saying flock cameras aren't an issue because we are already being surveilled through other means is kinda like saying getting cancer is no big deal because you already have the flu. Flock cameras are just one part of the massive surveillance state but they still should concern every American. If we don't draw a line in the sand now, privacy will die and freedom dies with it.
