When Keith Stops Building I'll Stop Stacking.

Dear nostr, I AM WORKING ON BIP-352 SILENT PAYMENTS FOR @SeedSigner!! The UI took longer to build than the actual #bip352 code! Caveat: I don't actually really know what I'm doing, so if you're BIP-352 savvy, see if your results match mine:

Awesome, now we just need a non shitcoin focused coordinator software to match this. So far I've only seen Cake wallet implement silent payments.
BASIC SCHEME The recipient publishes their silent payment address, a single 32 byte public key: X = x*G The sender picks an input containing a public key: I = i*G The sender tweaks the silent payment address with the public key of their input: X' = hash(i*X)*G + X Since i*X == x*I (Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange), the recipient can detect the payment by calculating hash(x*I)*G + X for each input key I in the blockchain and seeing if it matches an output in the corresponding transaction. via
Someone sends funds to an address only you can accept. Only they know it has been created and funded though. You scan the network for payments to addresses that could only have been created for you. When you find one, you check its balance and add it to your wallets balance. It's like Someone releasing a "message in a bottle" into the ocean with a message in a language only you in the whole world can understand. Someone else can find the bottle and look at the message but it will be gibberish to them. Only the intended person (you) can read it.
its curious that they choose to promote this product in this date and state. Why not wait 3 more month when really ready ? Samourai wallet get to court ==> kyc everywhere ==> bisq and any gov sponsor tied are ready for the next gen steath tech. Its definitively curious and easy to get XD. image
Who is "they" you refer to in the first sentence? SeedSigner? Bitcoin Core? What is "this product"? SeedSigner? The silent payments protocol itself? "...are ready for the next gen stealth tech." Wait, that's a BAD reaction to the government cracking down on centralized privacy tools?

They is anyone who try to stand between people and call himself essentiel "middlemen" product is an addition of all those things. Seedsigner and silent payment is a product.
"They" are irrelevant for SeedSigner since you can build it yourself and run the FOSS code completely permissionlessly. Those of us involved in the project have NO IDEA who has built a SeedSigner. I disagree with your definition of "product". I think of a product as something that a company sells. We're a completely open source PROJECT. If you build a SeedSigner and run our code, none of the volunteers who work on the project profit from it. SeedSigner + Silent Payments is a FOSS project adding (currently experimental) support for an open source protocol / technique. No one asked me to start building support for Silent Payments in SeedSigner. No one paid me to do it. I've spent quite a bit of time with bip47 in the past. Interest in bip352 is a natural progression. Some conspiracy theories are interesting or incisive. This one isn't.
Is not about knowing someone anymore. And if u and ur friends telle me that im dumb good for u. No failing for that midlleman.
