Yeah I don’t have zaps setup. I have a moral objection to the idea of the attention economy revolving around the exchange of money, and don’t wish to participate in such a practice. It creates perverse incentives of its own, and I do not think content should be boosted in so many clients just because a few people spend money to do so.
If you want to reward me financially, I have a Monero (XMR) address in my profile.

Thanks, we agree with the sentiment and *never* post what other accounts consider trending content.
Even if a random meme does well, it doesn't mean anything to us, compared to that curated, engaged conversation that comes up with someone who read something we posted and woke up.
We've also DMed folks in the past to stop zapping us since we know they need the zaps more than us.
We'll consider the XMR tips, at this time, we guard our crypto (Bitcoin or XMR) quite jealously and gas on a congested network alone would be worth more than the zaps themselves.
But hopefully it's an idea that should evolve/fork into something better.

Isn’t the cleanest option in the attn economy direct donations from fans? Otherwise influencers are forced to do backroom campaigns or shill junk to get paid?
Maybe you just hate the idea of the attn economy in general?
