Just wondering how easy it would be for a mint holder to have some code built in to their mint which when it reaches a predetermined value that they feel is good enough for a rug pill, that it would automate that process and steal everyone's funds?
Then, if not automated, can a person running the mint see the value of their mint at any given moment and make a decision that way?

yes, the mint [custodian] has full control over the underlying asset [bitcoin] at all times. It is no different in that regard than any other custodian
Thanks nostr:nprofile1qqsvfdfkn2wmy73wr0yhkf065jrzm8705ar4q6clyuhc7jekhqfdh4spypmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuetfde6kuer6wasku7nfvuh8xurpvdjj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwvaskuervv9nzucm0d5aqv795jf..... This does just remind me that we utilise #cashu and its pedigree anonymity for a small anonymous transactions and that not a place to stack hard with large amounts.
I suppose part of my frustration comes because I'd love to be using #cashu to move funds of more significant amounts just to disappear their traceability through the system.
But anyway ...... it's still goddamn perfect as it is! ๐งก๐๐คโก๐
yeah cashu or other custodial swaps are not great for large amounts.
ideally you hold always the keys for the majority of your funds, and leverage custodians only for convenience.
Right tool for the right job!
