sometimes you run and stop until your heart rate hits a certain number and then you walk for a bit and rinse and repeat. it's all about the end goal.

Fwiw, I think that’s usually the wrong approach almost universally.
There’s SO much more power in incrementally showing up, shipping and doing rather than one big, concentrated push.
Like brushing your teeth:
you do a bit everyday, you don’t brush the fuck out of them once a year.
I’m on the last day of a tough medical treatment (well of the tough part of the treatment). It is to treat an ongoing problem, that has been pestering me for 20 years or so and pretty much stole much of my life. I’m on the sideline, been on the sideline for so long.
Last year I experienced a short window of extremely reduced symptoms. I now know what it feels like. I had totally forgotten. That is where I am heading. That feeling of « can do » I have almost totally lost. And when I get there, I will unleash it.
That’s what I was trying to say. I will finally be able to run with the rest of you. I feel it. It’s coming.
I have traveled the world over 15 years, helped people build wonderful things, trained people who went on to build wonderful things, all in a constant state of pain and fatigue. What can I do if I am healed?
