No I mean, I thought they sold all the parts and encouraged you to do the assembly after verifying the firmware. I don't think they'd get less money for it... Hmm, maybe. Its a security precaution

My understanding is that Seedsigner provides both options. Whoever wants to can DIY it (instructions and links on their site), whoever doesn't wanna build can buy a pre-built unit. Seems good!
