Anyone planning to take a break from football tomorrow by watching the alternative halftime show, it's a soft, weak, half-ass move. Have some conviction & integrity that conveys a real message. Don't watch the game, either. ¡Disfruta de la #música

Bitcoin Birth Chart (as interpreted by one human practitioner of shamanic astrology): Aries Moon – Aries is the 1st sign of the Zodiac and considered to be the most powerful because it has the unique ability to create something out of nothing. To do this requires a great deal of energy and power. Aries energy comes on fast and also dissipates fast unless another energy comes in to stabilize it beyond the initial spark of creation. Capricorn Sun, Mars, Jupiter – Capricorn is an earth sign, so this could be what brings the staying power needed to avoid fizzling out. Capricorn builds slowly over time and gets better with age. Saturn in 2nd house – Saturn and Capricorn are resonant energies (building slowly over time, etc) and the 2nd house is about personal wealth, so this is another indicator that Bitcoin will increase in value over time and won't fully mature (stabilize) until many years after its initial creation. Capricorn/Saturn is all about building solid structures and foundations that can withstand the test of time, so this is a good sign that Bitcoin will be around for the long haul, slowly building wealth over time. It's also interesting to note that it was created when Pluto was in the very first degree of Capricorn. Pluto in Capricorn was a 20 year transit that resulted in a near total deconstruction (and resurrection, thanks to taxpayer money bailing out banks) of traditional financial markets. That move may have "saved" our economic system, but it also exposed the corruption and rot at the core of it. And once you see that, you can't unsee it, so for many people this may have prompted a gradual departure (Pluto transformation moves slowly) from traditional financial markets, into something that went beyond those institutions and wasn't controlled or influenced by the government. The Rising sign of this chart is Leo, which is another fire sign (like Aries, its Moon sign). Leo energy is about being in the spotlight, being seen, being a leader, and dramatic performances. If it were a person, it would have qualities like: charisma, generosity, confidence, courage, creativity. The purpose of Leo is to lead the way by shining its own light and inspiring others to shine and express their creativity as well. It's interesting that the South Node is also in Leo (conjunct the ascendent). This means the North Node is in Aquarius. South Node represents a pattern or signature from the past, while the North Node represents what needs to be learned and practiced in order to shift into the next phase of a person's evolution. Leo is the sign of royalty, Kings and Queens of the past, those who once held and controlled the majority of the resources. Aquarius is the sign of the People. So with that as the nodal axis, it is clear that Bitcoin's purpose is to redistribute financial power away from "royalty" (which in modern terms could be referring to the billionaires who make up the 1% of people holding all the wealth) and disperse it throughout the collective, putting financial power in the hands of the common people (99%) Mercury in Aquarius is conjunct the North Node and the DSC so this might be a reflection of how Bitcoin is shared, person to person (DSC) and the technology it uses to process transactions (block chain, communication between computers, running calculations, etc) – all Mercury type processes. Venus is in Pisces in the 8th house. This indicates a desire for transformation that leads to a sense of Oneness. A world where we have empathy and compassion for each other. Venus is conjunct Neptune (even though it's in 7th house, it's still within 10 degrees, which is a conjunction) and this brings even more of the same energy (because Neptune and Pisces are resonant archetypal energies). Uranus is also in Pisces in the 8th house –The 8th house is about shared resources. Uranus has an unconventional nature and can bring sudden, unexpected shifts in what we know as reality. This is a generational signature that challenges societal norms and disrupts traditional belief systems, particularly related to how we share resources. Bitcoin's creation carries the signature of innovation, disruption of outdated systems, and a call for compassionate change that serves ALL. Neptune in Aquarius reflects these same values of social reform that leads to a more heart-centered economy. Also interesting that Uranus in the 8th house is directly opposed to Saturn in the 2nd house. 8th house is shared resources, 2nd house is personal resources. Saturn is about stability. Uranus can be unstable as it disrupts structures and breaks us free from systems that confine. This opposition may be what gives Bitcoin its sense of volatility overall. But even though it's value may be erratic overall, on a personal level, it is more stable. As in, for people who don't react to the volatility, for the ones who calmly and patiently hold, it is more likely to increase in value, and become more stable over time. Lastly, the MC (Midheaven) is in Aries, conjunct Eris. The MC in a personal chart usually represents a person's career, but in this case it would be Bitcoin's public contribution or public role/responsibility. Aries is a protector energy. Eris is the Goddess of Discord, which means she calls out and fights against anything that is out of sync (dis – meaning "apart") with the heart (cor). Eris is also a warrior seeking justice for the marginalized and disenfranchised. Both of these are conjunct Vesta (in Taurus in the 10th house) which indicates a very stable, steady flame of devotion to this public role. (Vesta represents the inner fire and what is sacred). Taurus being a fixed energy has the stability to keep that initial Aries spark from burning out. Vesta in Taurus keeps that flame lit and holds it up like a torch to at the top of the chart (the most visible placement) lighting the way for others to follow. image
