1 Sats/vbyte for life!!!

Is there a way to consolidate multiple OLYMPUS channels into one single channel?
Not at present, maybe at a future date with splicing.
They are combined for sending and receiving though, when the payer has multi-path payments enabled (on by default in ZEUS).

Thx for your swift reply. I was expecting as much. Would be a very nice feature for some future update, though the lightning network has to support it first! Anyway, keep up your good work! Greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
It already does, but it’s a bit cutting edge. Hoping to bring it to our users somewhat soon.
Thanks for the kind words. More to come.
I have channel opens but I cannot use them. How to I provide or utilize outbound capacity? @ZEUS
If you’re having issues with channels from our LSP you can always email support or DM us for assistance.
I want to set up a Lightning routing node in the U.S. How do you guys handle taxes? How do you avoid being a money transmitter?
We’ve written our own accounting tools in house but you might want to look into Clams and Faraday for accounting.
It’s our lawyers’ opinion that we’re not money transmitters because all of our services are self-custodial and we don’t touch fiat assets. This is not legal advice.

consolidating UTXOs should only be done for smaller UTXOs? If they are larger, is there much point, as you would then combine UTXOs and require larger amounts of change outputs when spending? What do you see as the downsides to UTXO combining? Privacy upsides/ downsides? Thanks!
With UTXO consolidation there is a very real privacy concern. Remember, when consolidating UTXOs you are linking them together. Observers of the chain now know they were owned by the same entity.
Regarding UTXO size, this chart should proof helpful:

This is a cool chart! I know everyone thinks sat/vB is going to the moon but probably not. 1 sat/vB has been going up in fiat value for 16 years now and the mempool just cleared
Well, if you consolidate a bunch of no-KYC addresses into a new no-KYC address what does it matter?
There will be ebbs and flows.
You don’t want to be caught in an emergency during a high volume period and not be able to spend your funds.
Even if your identity isn’t explicitly linked to them, people you’ve interacted with those funds will be able to link them together.
No-KYC is great but doesn’t mean you should neglect UTXO management.
What if those UTXOs were first on-chain, then swapped to lightning in another UTXO, back to on-chain again. I hope that makes it very difficult to find out the identity.
Ideally it's having a good balance of privacy and spendable Bitcoin. No point having it if it's hard to use in an emergency. Thanks for your input @EVAN KALOUDIS
I built an open source app to help people understand the tradeoffs of consolidation amounts.

Excellent is an under statement.
What would you guys need from Clams to make it useful for Zeus? Anything you guys need accounting wise that you currently don’t have the time to solve? It would be great if we could save you all having to maintain your own accounting tools and allow you to focus on your products instead.
