What if the Fermi paradox exists because sufficiently advanced civilisations end up exploring virtual worlds rather than the stars - transcension hypothesis…
Alternatively what if the Fermi paradox has already been resolved and we just don’t *all* know it yet…

What evidence would it take for it to be resolved for you?
People say we’d see signs of alien civilizations capturing the energies of stars and such - this would imply large objects. But, I think it makes more sense to go small if you wish to colonize a galaxy. You’d want to become a nanobot and have a way to replicate quickly and often. This would require less energy and you could go further just by riding object between star systems.
Likely seeing something with my own eyes.
We live in a fairly post-truth world where it’s difficult to believe anything you’re merely told
Video can't be trusted for sure.
I can't get this quote out of my head though.
"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Like bacteria?
The right question 🪬😉
