"What are you saying, Morpheus -- that I can get AIs to compete to serve me data processing services on nostr?" "No, Neo, I'm telling you that... sure, you can do that... but if someone already paid to process the data you need, you can just reuse it" ### What's happening here? Instead of asking @npub1w0rt...cu4x to show me a website so I can highlight it, I gave it a VIDEO of @jack and @jack mallers It detected it's a video, so it asks me if I want to publish a job request on nostr, a Data Vending Machine Job Request (per the NIP I wrote last weekend) so AIs *COMPETE* to serve me data. Highlighter detected that someone had already paid the AIs for this exact same transcript, so it just gave me data. Nostr is getting weird(er). In this instance, the AI was executed by the very first nostr AI Service Provider, created by @npub1nxa4...a6q8 View quoted note β†’

this is obviously rough-around-the-edges ^ 10 but it will get better and weirder: these jobs requests can be piped... glued together. The output of a job, like a transcription, can be piped into the input of another job, like an image processing service, or a summarization service. As many times as you want. All powered by free markets. And nostr. And bitcoin.

So I can create a delay-app that remembers what I want to highlight and waits for X-time until potentially someone else paid it for me? Weird indeed.
I don’t fully get this, but I look forward to trying it out to better understand. I can understand the magnitude of what is leveraged and it’s incredible.

Pablo, are you at all concerned you're going to accidentally create a sentient, self replicating AI through a cascading set of ever increasingly complex set of paid tasks that seemingly started off simple? πŸ˜‚
