Traveling by train in Germany is a nightmare. Decades of stagnation thanks to government intervention. Feels like the whole system is on the brink of collapse. Everyone’s just frustrated. The new normal: there’s no chance of arriving on time or without headaches. Wish me luck. Who is John Galt?

I had the pleasure of using German trains last week... first train was 5 minutes late, not too bad, but then we stopped somewhere for 15 minutes, waiting for another train or something. In total we were 30 minutes late to my stop where i was supposed to change trains... missed my connection and had to wait another hour and a half for the next one... arrived to final destination two hours later than intended... incredible.
It's extreme on German highways. But also in country areas. I have a construction site on my own doorstep. For two months now. They're good at putting up and removing signs. Holes have been dug. But nobody works there. 😂 ☕
agruably, it depends on the government (in the end: society). look at switzerland or japan. with this respect, austria and germany are definetly on the decline. good look 🍀

Wait til you visit Romania my man. Talk about real stagnation. Reading the creature from Jekyll island rn but Atlas shrugged is next. You should also read the fountainhead. It’s an excellent book that Ayn Rand wrote before Atlas Shrugged

That was my experience in Germany as well
I hear ya. Before and after Nostriga this summer we spent some time in Berlin. It wasnt long before we realized it's the same shithole city that our home town of Vancouver, BC is. The experiment has failed. Ann Coulter was right. Mass immigration has destroyed the western world, (among similar other stuff)..💩
When we were there last year we were kind of amazed how reliable and effecient getting around Europe by train was. The German trains were excellent by busted Canadian standards. Try Amtrak or Via rail. Trust me. You guys are decades ahead.
in ukraine we sometime have 6-10 hours of electricity in a day. we have daily raid alerts and weekly ballistic rockets explosions outside and still no one is using words "the whole system is on the brink of collapse". but now I know what it means, it is when train is 15 minutes late. sorry for toxicity
