Line of sight or through walls?
That’s impressive.
For android devices. Bitchat should have a feature that sends the APK to another android phone over anything.
This is important.
but clone.
Pun intended.
Why can't I download newest version on zap store? Getting error message that download was not possible or something like that.

QuickShare exists. 💁♂️
I always keep the APK on-device (and backed up) just in case. 🤙
I'm still surprised the Reticulum (and Meshtastic) gang hasn't jumped on bitchat. They're super clever and passionate, but actually kind of poo poo it. Very tribalesque.
Seems to me that bitchat solves their tricky hardware issue and Reticulum solves bitchat's range issue.
Same here...
Helpful. But I’m saying g make it stupid simple for normies.
Bitchat released 1.6.0 which was picked up by the indexer. Then, the maintainers deleted and/or converted the release to a pre-release with another version name.
I just implemented a fallback to Zapstore CDN which will allow you to install it anyway, or any other app that rugs releases. Coming in the next alpha.
