As long as it stays decentralized and secure, as Jeff Booth says, this guy is wrong.

Ahh the sounds of Bitcoin winter. Music to my ears, as I keep buying while others are rage quitting and panic selling.
Bitcoin replaces central banks, regional banks, local banks, their staff, their buildings, their vaults, and the IOUs governments issue. It gives individuals sole control over value they can move freely across the internet. Bitcoin wins on portability, divisibility, verifiability, and being the first asset in history that's natively digital yet harder to seize than a vault of rocks.

If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry
Gold is a conductive metal. It's in most electronic devices. Bitcoin wouldn't exist without gold. It has way more value than just "looks pretty and is rare"
The reaction from "Bitcoin investors" in this comments section only makes this guy's argument stronger.
Bitcoins value comes from its adoption as currency. Everything else is just wallstreet gamblers and speculators. Epstein created bitcoin core to push the network towards becoming a volunteer data hosting service instead of a currency. The Zionist central bankers could not stop Bitcoin so they tried to take control of it. Anyone that actually cares about Bitcoin should be running a node, not bragging about how they stack sats as some kind of pyramid scheme to sell later at a markup.

If that were true it would, but it’s not, so it doesn’t. It’s a start, but it certainly doesn’t do the work of an entire financial system.
