One of the first things users need to learn, regardless of what client they use, is they are not posting images or videos on Nostr, they are posting URLs to them. They can post URLs because URLs are just text. Some "Nostr" clients also happen to offer cloud storage as an additional service. They may as well send you a pizza, that doesn't make pizzas part of Nostr.
> getting a zap is kind of exciting for people Why? It has the same meaning of a like, plus some measure of how rich or generous the person sending it is.

Ha! Yeah I can relate to that. I have no idea what vibe coding is. I'm here because meta is creepy as hell. My husband got me into it because of issues with censorship and data sharing. Definitely a ton of jargon, but there's a lot of non-technical folks here too!
Nostr is actually still very useful if you post images or videos. Yes, media will be hosted in some other way, but you retain your audience. You can tell them when you get censored and post new stuff through new services, still linking to it with the same Nostr account. So Nostr isn't useless if you make images or videos, or audio, but none should be claiming they are posting videos through Nostr.
What client are you using? It wrote the following: > wss://nos.lol/%20wss://nostr.land/%20%20avatar%20wss://nostr.wine/%20%20avatar%20wss://purplerelay.com/%20wss://relay.damus.io/%20wss://relay.snort.social/ As a relay hint (it's clearly nonsensical).
