Yeah, the material wealth aspect is a big part of it I'm sure. And I think just on first glance, it just seems like socialism is more fair therefore it's more Islamic. And it's so much easier to blame "capitalism" than taking time to understand the malincentives caused by usurious fiat money.

What these people don’t get is that having it and using it for good things is better than not having it at all. They always think that once someone has too much wealth, they’ll automatically spend it on stuff that’s bad for everyone. And honestly, they’re partly right when they look at some examples around them. But the key thing they’re missing is that it’s not about having money itself, it’s about how attached you are to it, how much you love it, and how materialistic you are. And yeah, that’s why you could say they’re kinda retarded. And if they even start agreeing with the idea that it’s okay to take it from wealthier people and give it to the poor, that whole Robin Hood mindset, then they’ve completely lost it and ended up in communism.

Left wing institutions is one of the main reason, not just academic even we take media, public platforms and authors. Socialist authors have sympathized towards islam in their work and socialists tend to support muslim minorities in many countries. Normies get influenced by this in beginning, and then its hard to change worldview you make initially.

It is very simply coming from an desire to reconsile divine justice with observations of injustice. Doesn't mean conclusions reached are correct but at least is a sign people are seaking answers. Better question is why hasn't Islam been able to provide a satisfsctory responce.

I think you're missing the point: Christianity also discourages/entices that material wealth is not the goal. I think that there are two kinds: white people who want to read/get into Islam do it out of disconection/rejection of christianity.
