Okay, looks like my next distro is gonna be MX Linux. Because of all the systemd and age verification issues. Ubuntu and Fedora are totally out of the question for that reason, they want compliance. MX Linux is deb based too and supposedly has this cool software center that pulls together all the package sources. People are already migrating from Ubuntu to it because of that. I hardly play anymore, but I guess I'll have to stick with the old games. That's enough, this kind of crap is unacceptable. I'm not paying for the hardware and the games, and then getting forced into a mandatory subscription with required connectivity on top of that. Game companies can kiss my ***. I come from a time when you paid the full price of a game and got everything. No pay-to-win in-app-purchases, programmed by some woke developers with nose rings who just can't get enough. Anyway, all the new games suck with their super long intros, tutorials, and interruptions, just because some character has to keep blabbing nonstop. Back in the day, you'd boot up a game and jump right in, without any of that. And you'd learn it as you played.
