This is almost the same as the laugh tracks on sitcoms. Friends for example, without a laugh track, is nightmarish.

Exactly. I grew up watching TV sitcoms with the same canned laughter (from dead people) after every stupid joke or reaction. The brainrot has always been there. It’s just more personalized now.
