Thanks, but I’m trying to find a solution for my normie friends to onboard them with as simple a setup as possible, and this isn’t really beginner-friendly.
But I set it up for myself to get the experience anyway .)

Have you thought about creating a sub-wallet for your friend?
He basically has super convenient, custodial-like experience, but he knows and trusts you.
