Time is the thing most forget. The instant gratification propagandized by most is the bane of society, It’s prevalent everywhere from the products we buy to the services we use. Heck, it’s even present in diets and pharmaceuticals. Now granted, some things such as when I call the plumber or the AC repairman—I want them NOW! But if we slowed down and just took gander at life with a slightly longer time horizon, we’d see that we don’t need 90% of what is being marketed to us. I wish I learned this a couple decades ago… But the good news? My son ‘ll be all set! He’s already changed some of his ways and delayed gratification so he isn’t as trapped as his peers are or will be in five to ten years time. nostr:note1vt9p0atl8axgh893x58qcvvc53thp0afg53kfs2lkmd0yd0w5uvsz4r2ca
