Close to understand why Bitcoin needs to be the most private system to store value long term.
Privacy > Freedom > Choice > Competition (free market) > Economic output.
The most private will generate the most economic output long-term.
Now I don't believe Bitcoin will get anywhere close to becoming the most private. It is too intertwined with the financial system already and early ossification didn't help either.
It sacrificed itself in the name of its offsprings success.
Once you see it you can not make it unseen. That's why you rarely find a Bitcoin OG without deep pockets in Monero.
