Buying a used tractor does have its quirks. With only 180hrs on it the, it's practically brand new. Im facing an issue with stalling intermittently. I decided to do a full maintenance PM with fresh oil/filter, new fuel filters (2), air filter, transmission fluid/filter and grease all the zerks. After taking the stage 1 fuel filter off i dumped the contents into an old coffee can and discovered it was pretty full of sand (figures when you buy a tractor in Texas). After getting it all back together I started it up and she sounded a lot better. After about 15 minutes of driving around, it started to stall again. Grrrr. Time to inspect the fuel tank for more sand.
