I think what they usually mean is that it limits the ability of evil doers to get close to the printers. Of course people will still do evil, but sound money makes it harder. People used to have to go and die to take gold. Now they press a key.
I've always rejected the stupid notion that it would totally end wars, fix every problem, etc. But yeah I've heard some of the podcasters seem a little too idealistic about it. Most of the bigger ones I've heard admit it won't fix every problem.

any tool, no matter how small like a pen is as good as its wielder/user. The same as power, you give meaning to destroy or to save lives. Who gets to decide: whoever wields it. π«
