We have common goals. You can't bitcoin on your own. Money requires at leas twonparties to be functional. Like it or not, we are in it together to a degree. Infighting will rot bitcoin from within from a social perspective, no matter how technically sound the argument. Money is social, like it or not. And that social aspect requires a degree of cooperation.

Not everyone has the same goal. The goal should be peer-to-peer electronic cash, but many accept any compromise that comes along which dilutes that purpose. View quoted note โ†’

I've been lamenting for about six years now that for most bitcoiners today, fiat-denominated capital gains is their dominant priority, and they will accept any compromise in the furtherance of that goal.
