As far as I know, hex-dice cannot be built in a topologically fair manner. Also, hex dice are niche and hence potentially vulnerable to supply chain attacks. High precision D6 are widely available, and much easier to manufacture. Please reconsider. Standard dice are a good tradeoff between number of rolls, ease of use and availability.
