Yes I agree, that *is* the debate. We should absolutely debate that, weigh pros and cons, explore different solutions, and come up with either consensus or a split. That's debating the issues, not the people. Calling everyone who disagrees either a pedophile or cat-eater (regardless true or not) does nothing to further intelligent discourse.
