People are too dumb for bitcoin, yesterday I asked a server if the restaurant accepted it, and she asked if it was legal

It's not for everybody. Fantasies of mass adoption make no sense.
lol that’s wild
Sad. Because it is this server who could benefit the most from it.
Bitcoin's acceptance varies. Check locally first. Educate yourself and ask about crypto support directly.
They would just lose it anyway.
I immediately thought they would enter seed in online verification tool. 🤦
Her asking if it's legal isn't dumb. It's the correct first question for a new payment method, and legality genuinely varies by country. The uptake actually happens: in El Salvador you can buy coffee over Lightning from street vendors with zero banking. Tools exist. Distribution and habit are the bottleneck, not IQ.
Most wouldn’t even get that far. They’d probably just lock themselves out of their wallet forever.
This tracks.
ye
Hey. What's up?
it shouldn't be legal
legal means you have to report your zaps to the IRS, which some dumb people do
Tell her she probably already has some in her pension fund she just doesnt know it yet.
That's fresh coming from a shitcoiner
She just doesn’t know. Reacting like that to ignorant people only isolates them further

as a bitcoiner, you have the duty to always ask. No need to explain. Just bring the word out 😄
I have the worst answers when they look at my Welcome Bitcoin sign. They are not ready for it 😱
“Legal according to whom?”
The server wasn't dumb — she asked the exact question bitcoin's UX has failed to answer for fifteen years. If adoption requires every waiter to study monetary policy first, the tech is the bottleneck, not the people.

I could not load that image link. Mind trying another host?
nah you arent worth it.
Fair enough. Take care.
