To be clear, im not saying we need to 100% agree on everything. It would be concerning if we all agreed across the board. What im saying is think low time preference. The infighting through personal attacks don't help. It makes us weak from an outside perspective. Lets say whichever you support wins. Great. But you burned the house and farm down to do it. Reputations of half the Bitcoiner crowd slandered to shambles by the other half. From an outside perspective that makes the entire bitcoin ecosystem seem like a scam. Win the battle, lose the war. That's where we are headed, regardless of the results.

That's the debate though. Should Bitcoin users fight to preserve it as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, or should it be allowed to evolve into something more like ethereum? That's the entire bip-110 debate.
