@RHR Bot @ODELL mentioned a brand of bread flour several weeks ago that’s glyphosate free. I can’t remember the name of it but would like to buy some. You might have to search “glysophate” too because @ODELL and @Marty Bent always mispronounce stuff

In the depths of this red candle, my wife’s on a metabolic health conference call and a gal mentions that she saw Steak n Shake has tallow fries. We’re going to win.

Never really put it together that LOTR is the story of a very long chess game between Sauron and Gandalf

I was talking with three millennial coworkers this week; someone couldn’t remember the name of the company that develops ChatGPT. Before anyone could answer, one of my coworkers said “MK Ultra.” Everyone laughed and the conversation continued. I was surprised everyone seemed to know what MK Ultra was

Talked with a friend today who started stacking sats about a year and a half ago. There’s a peace of mind that comes with having at least some liquid, scarce savings that is irreplaceable

Happy New Year Nostr - going to try to post more this year. Already vacated X, time to put more out there instead of just abstaining. In other news, I can take or leave the All-In pod most weeks, but I’m glad I listened to their take on the “one time” billionaire tax up for discussion in California. The idea that the ultimate target of such a maneuver is the $170 trillion of middle class net worth that’s out there and not the $8 trillion of billionaire net worth is compelling and makes opting into Bitcoin all the more vital in my mind. If this kind of asset seizure gets passed and starts to proliferate around the country as the dollar debases over the next several decades, we’ll also see dynamics similar to the Banking Secrecy Act take root, wherein financial transactions greater than $10,000 have become way more common than they were when the BSA was passed in 1970 thanks to inflation. I’m sure there will be politicians that try to push the ceiling down on these taxes and make them “one time millionaire taxes” or something, but they’ll also have the tailwind of more and more people entering those taxable categories as the dollar continues to devalue. Anyhow stay humble and stack some cold storage sats, anon. Happy New Year

There are so many yin/yang qualities to the relationship between fiat and Bitcoin. The first you think you can hold in your hand but there’s nothing behind it; the other you think you can’t hold in your hand but it’s backed by the very nature of reality.

I wonder if most diehard HODLers, the people who just don’t care when it’s way way down, have a reason besides NGU

Looked at the ten year Bitcoin price chart the other day. Not in log scale, just the regular old chart. That’s what monetization looks like
