A woman will often try to use guilt strings to test and see if she can throw a man off his center and pull him into a pendulum of shame and confusion. If you take the bait and accept the feelings of guilt, you’ll be diverted from your purpose which is rooted in personal freedom. Remain strong. The only allegiance you owe is to God the Father and to live truly from within. The enemy is the accuser of the brethren. God is gracious and merciful. He is love.

Never relinquish your freedom or purpose for a woman. A king doesn’t abandon the castle and kingdom that he has built to marry a princess in a foreign land. She comes to inhabit his castle to be his queen. I see a lot of guys so eager to get married and start a family that they alter the direction of their life to adapt to her needs. Follow God only. Not your woman.

Just like with your finances and health if you are not proactive in gathering like valued people around you, it will not just happen on its own. I know quite a few successful 50+ year olds who thought that love and relationships would simply happen once they got their finance and fitness ducks in a row. Now they are struggling. Affirm to yourself: “I love that I’m at the cause and not the effect of everything that happens in my life.”
