Tried to connect cashu.me to amethyst with NWC and when I try to zap it can't quite go through (looks like it's 95% loaded but doesn't finish). So I tried to set up Zeus as an alternative lightning wallet and when I do the quick start setup its getting stuck at "Zeus is starting your node" for hours. Any advice? #asknostr

Me: "I believe very strongly that bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that competes with fiat currencies and central banks, and therefore is a worthy investment. Buying any other cryptocurrency would be more like gambling. If you do consider buying alternative cryptocurrencies, look into whether or not there was a pre-mine before the coin or token was launched. If there was, it means the founders of the project have the ability to, and likely will rug the investors, meaning they can sell their pre-mined coins for a profit causing the price to crash." Him: "Ahh ok that is a good explanation thanks. I'll probably hold off on getting any Swftcoin lol"

A customer is building a new home on a nice plot of land out in Alpine (East County San Diego). He drove by our shop a couple of weeks ago and saw that we had doors so he stopped to check it out. When he walked in, he realized he could get all the finish materials he needed right here in one place (I share a showroom with 3 other business - it's a one-stop-shop for remodels). For the cabinetry, we looked at door samples during that first visit to the shop and he found the one he liked. Then, since the framing was already done, we went out and took measurements, did a couple revisions of drawings, and now we have the design ready to go and the cabinets can get ordered. Next step will be to pick out cabinet pulls, sinks, and faucets. We will likely start installing the cabinets around the beginning of March. #grownostr

Drove by one of the California fires a few days ago. This was one of the small ones in San Diego.

I studied mechanical engineering in college, and had a nice engineering career for 6 years. I quit my job out of the blue one day in pursuit of entrepreneurship. 3 years ago I started a cabinetry business. Today I collected in one day more than my starting salary as an engineer.
