Fantasy football has been my longest orange pill play with my normie friend group. I am the treasurer and since 2020, the league pot is converted to bitcoin and at the end of the season (winner take all) the victor can choose to take it in bitcoin or cash. Buy in is usually pretty cheap, so max invested each year is like $600. The winner of year 1 took it in cash and bought a snowboard for like $900. The past two champions have taken their prize in bitcoin and I expect this years winner will as well. I periodically remind everyone how expensive that snowboards was. It’s a yearly reminder of dollar debasement and everyone’s brains have switched to wanting dollars, to wanting bitcoin. If you are in one of these dumb leagues, become the treasurer and do the same thing to your normie friends. I honestly hate fantasy football and think it’s a waste of time, but this is the only thing that makes it worth it. #btc #normies
