"You mean something exist that can help me escape inflation?🤔 and no government can't stop you? " I thought to myself. I got curious and immediately I started my journey down the 🐇rabbit hole. Here on I saw its benefit to me, with the gravity of capital restriction and control we have. My currency at the time was N200 to the dollar. You see, as one who earns a currency 🇳🇬₦ which devalues over 150% within a short time frame, I had to look for a STORE OF VALUE that helps me with my purchasing power. To give you a context, in the year 2023, Naira to dollar was N450/$ and today it sits at N1,500/$ and got to N1,890/$. This is how volatile my currency is. Majority are also unbanked so most use Cash as savings. * Real estate 🏠 the popular investment here can't be bought easily and fractionally with monthly income. * Gold is impossible to hold in large amount and restricted even if it's mined in 🇳🇬Nigeria . * Poor Capital/stock market, poor credit and no access to good loans etc all you can do here is to work so hard to save to finance whatever investment you desire. Majority of the world are in this category and a lot are learning about #Bitcoin daily and jumping in. We are early.
