- You take away the government's power to confiscate your money remotely (they can always take it by force)
- You take away the government's power to know what you have (CoinJoin + Lightning)
- You take away the state’s power to create money
- You take away the state’s power to decide what to do with your money and who you can send it to
And you expect the state to do nothing to fix this? If you had understood the power Bitcoin holds, you would have realized that the state will do everything in its power to make Bitcoin fail—if necessary, it will even buy off your mother.
You should have guarded Bitcoin as if it were a nuclear weapon, not as if it were mere software where idiots tinker with its code.

Who actually guards Monero? An analysis of the human layer
Here is the public face of this entire campaign to attack Bitcoin by forcing it to adopt unproven post-quantum cryptography.
Who is this idiot?
It’s all well and good to theorize about traveling at the speed of light, but you know what? We don’t have the technology for it—that’s the reality of quantum computing.

This just goes to show how gullible the average Bitcoin user is. There’s a massive campaign underway right now in support of BIP-360, and most people are backing it—and no one is going to stand by and watch this crap happen.
Sadly, Bitcoin is destined to disappear.

Two things about the conflict in Iran:
- We live in an age of misinformation; it’s pointless to try to stay informed—do something more useful instead.
- There’s no clear beginning or end; there won’t be the apocalypse that doomsayers are selling you—the sun will rise again tomorrow.
Will we see more inflation? Of course, but that’s just the way it is—you’ll have to accept it.
From there, you can take steps to change things yourself or stay put—like using Bitcoin or not using it. That’s all there is to it.
Good monring!

Isabel Foxen Duke: how she went from dietitian to quantum computing scientist and Bitcoin expert—simply brilliant.
BIP-360 looks really promising.

Here's an excellent article on the subject; do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

This is another thing I’ve been pointing out over time at Nostr, but the same people who are now promoting stablecoins and KYC services—and who have never had anything to do with the IT world—used to say, “Nah.”

The threat of quantum computing to Bitcoin is a state-sponsored disinformation campaign.
I’ll ask why the idiots at Google mention Bitcoin but don’t mention banks, intelligence agencies, corporations, and generally everyone who depends on encryption to move millions of dollars—just like Bitcoin does.
Have you ever wondered why?
I’ll tell you why: because they want you to adopt shitty post-quantum standards like BIP-360. Ask yourself who’s behind BIP-360.
Good morning!

Final thought of the day.
Blockchains don’t always function as money; you might use them to buy a car—a purchase you can wait days for—but they aren’t suitable for buying bread; the baker can’t wait 10 minutes or more.
Payment has to be instant; only Bitcoin offers this. If Monero aspires to be money, it also needs a Layer 2 solution.
Lightning is underrated
It’s as simple as using Bitcoin to save and using Bitcoin as money.
The dual nature of store of value and currency.
Using it solely as a store of value might make you richer, but it doesn’t put an end to the power of the state; it’s not much different from buying Apple stock.

The right way to use Bitcoin:
- the one that lets you avoid paying taxes
The wrong way to use Bitcoin:
- the one that leads you to pay taxes on it.
If you have nowhere to spend Bitcoin because no one accepts it—which is where the state-sanctioned HODL narrative leads you—then you have to sell Bitcoin for fiat and end up paying taxes because tax agencies control all entry and exit points.
If you have a circular economy where you can buy all the goods and services you need with Bitcoin, then you have the opportunity to avoid paying taxes, whether you’re a merchant or a buyer.
