To those living on a #BicoinStandard, how do you stop thinking of things in terms of #fiat? How do you see something for sale, see the bitcoin price and automatically think "yeah that's a good deal"? How do you price your merchandise or services in sats without the voice of the evil fiat whispering the dollar conversion in your ear to check the conversion calculator. I have only dealt with dollars my whole life and it's very easy to make concrete the abstract concept of what "price" is. But, sats are like a whole new language, especially when my mind automatically wants to peg sats to a dollar amount and where BTC is sitting at the moment. I hope my little diatribe makes sense. I'd love to hear your input. /rant

When I first heard about #lightning a few years back, I thought "that's cool, but it seems complicated and I doubt it will ever apply to me". Theni fell back asleep and didn't think about #bitcoin for awhile. Now, it seems I was very very wrong. There are so many ins and outs. Am I the only one who thinks it's complicated? Lightning, LND, LNDHub, LNBits. What is all that? How does lightning get on chain and off chain? What is liquidity? Channels? Private nodes, public nodes? And, ultimately, how do I run a Lightning stack in the most #self-sovereign way? What do you guys do to maintain maximum control and privacy over your #sats? I gotta know. Where do I start with all of this? #asknostr

#asknostr We have @IndeeHub for movies, @Wavlake for music. Is there a #nostr tool or client for #writers? A place where #authors can publish their #books or #screenwriters can post their #screenplays? Would be a great platform.
