It makes me smile — bitterly — when packaged food shouts on the label what it doesn’t contain. As if removing one ingredient could give it back a soul. The problem isn’t just palm oil. It’s the idea that food has to be fixed, adjusted, reassured. If something is truly natural, it doesn’t need slogans. It needs a few ingredients. Recognizable ones. That’s it. Even though Bitcoin has fallen significantly in value, I currently have more purchasing power in Bitcoin than I do in cash in the bank, and I can assure you that I am very, very far from owning a whole Bitcoin. Does this make me a true bitcoiner or a true new poor?

My brother had his Twitter account deleted just because he was reading on it and not participating. I didn't tell him about Nostr because I know he wouldn't understand it and it would be useless for him, plus there aren't any feeds he's interested in here. I wish we were a real alternative to Twitter, even for people like my brother, but we're not yet and this makes me very sad.

Nostr isn’t for everyone. It’s not convenient, not loud, not driven by algorithms. It’s a square where people stay because they choose to. Fewer, maybe. But present, aware, alive. Small and free beats big and controlled.

But that attention comes from time, trust, and connections. Not from a machine deciding who should shine. If you have something authentic to say, it will find space here. Maybe slowly. Maybe quietly.
