GM Nostr friends. Went to the doc for my yearly today, and she prescribed me one of the GPL-1 meds. Waiting to see if my insurance will cover it, but I'm hopeful. Too much chonk around my middle that I'm hoping to get rid of. Here's to another week. Make it a good one.

GM Nostr friends. Hubby and I had a friend over for takeout and a baseball game last night, so my brain was absolutely convince yesterday was Friday. Kinda bummed to have another workday ahead, but I got my coffee and my pup sleeping at my side - it's going to be okay. Have a good one.

GM Nostr friends. Back to a peaceful morning here. Lu is snoring in her bed next to my desk, have about half a mug left of coffee, and only one meeting on my calendar for today. Go out and enjoy your day.

GM Nostr friends. After a late snow/rain last evening, I'm in the office today, and Lu is at doggy daycare. Going to be a long day on campus, with my boss having his retirement party after hours, but will be good.

GM Nostr friends! I'm flying medium-high on cold meds today. It's so nice to be able to breathe out my nose again. Also, exciting news: I might have purple-pilled my boss. We were in a one-on-one and he was talking about how back Facebook was, so I briefly explained Nostr and sent him a couple intro pages and he seemed pretty interested. Whoo hoo!

GM Nostr friends. Already launched into the new week. It appears I have a regular cold now, so popping some zinc and cold meds to hold back the coughing and kleenex use. Hopefully this clears up by mid-week, as my boss is retiring this week and his party is Wednesday.

GM Nostr friends. I'm officially sick with...something. Coughing, scratchy throat, watery eyes - all lead me to think that it's allergies, but I've never had allergies before in the spring. Also feeling fairly worn down, but I get plenty of sleep. Hopefully the weekend will set me right. A friend invited Hubby and I to a fish fry tonight (these are big around Minnesota during Lent), and I'm excited for it. I have to go to an appointment later this morning to get set up for a new TSA PreCheck. Since I got married and changed my middle and last names, the old (but still valid) one that I had no longer works, as I found out my last flight. Airports and flying stress me out. I always feel like a criminal going through the regular TSA line, so anything that makes the whole process shorter, I'm going to do. Have a good Friday, y'all.

Update: laptop heeded a hard reset for the battery. Tech did it in about two minutes, checked my system logs, and then sent me on my way. Glad it's up and running again!

GM Nostr friends. Well, it happened. My work laptop seems to have crapped out. It won't turn on at all. Battery seems slightly warm, which is normal. It's been struggling for weeks with a noticeable lag. I have my 10 year old System76 desktop still humming along, so I'm using that for now until I can get in and have some techs look at the laptop this afternoon. Not exactly how I had planned my day to go, but here we are.
