A few snaps from yesterday. We visited @npub17wh6...wa3f and @EcoBitz in Mitaboni. Kelvin, the found of EcoBitz is turning glass bottles into sats, reducing waste and supporting the local youth. Such an awesome dude and glad to spend the day learning about how bitcoin is transforming his life.

121 sat fee to send a lightning transaction through primal wallet… almost as expensive as a base layer transaction.

Visited 2 circular economies today in Nairobi, Kenya. I was blown away by the grassroots education and collaboration happening here. Bitcoin is a pathway to freedom, sovereignty and hope.

Being a bitcoiner is a life hack. Where ever you go there’s a community of likeminded individuals working on the same mission as you. Nairobi has been awesome so far and the jet lag hasn’t even worn off!

At a restaurant in Nairobi. Table next to me is talking about how everyone working for UN related NGOs are losing their jobs due to Trump cutting USAID. Direct quote: “It went from feast to famine in 4 months.” Trump had so much going for him… I genuinely had optimism that trump v2 would be better than the alternative… but at this point I’d rather fund NGO nonsense than WW3 and the destruction of the global economy.

I don’t opt out at TSA for privacy or EMF concerns… although I have both. I opt out because I can. Because if we do not exercise our rights and resist big brother, we won’t have a choice in the future.

We Are Satoshi episode 50 was a perfect example of the idea that WE ARE ALL SATOSHI. Two episodes ago I had @Tom Ta₿er on to discuss the ongoing fight for food sovereignty, specifically what Texas Slim and the @npub12pl4...42wq are doing. Fast-forward two episodes and I learned that John and Nadja from @Born To Be Free actually found their supplier of beef tallow through beef initiative. This is actually what it is all about. This is what building on bitcoin looks like. One pioneer paves the way for the next. https://fountain.fm/episode/6vFCP1U3VJ8J8E8ui4oJ image

Podcast with @Born To Be Free is out now. It was a fantastic conversation and left me fired up. We are going to win. Instagram is currently holding 40% of their business hostage, so if you’ve ever wanted to try tallow soap and skincare products now is the time! Use my link in the episode description for %15 off and pay with sats! YouTube:

Now is the time to start a bitcoin podcast. Drop the excuses. Your family, friends and community need you. From my personal experience with We Are Satoshi - my episodes get a few hundred views each, 544 subscribers on YT- I can tell you the show has had tremendous impact on me and many people who have listened/watched. Every month more and more people reach out asking questions about bitcoin, looking for resources or just sharing feedback from one of my episodes. I have connected with people all over the world through my podcast and I’m only 49 episodes in. I can’t say it’s been a very profitable venture but the non-monetary returns have been enormous. There are 8 billion more people in the world who need to learn about bitcoin over the next few decades. These people need more bitcoin podcasts.
