I'm going to be working on rebuilding my #website from scratch. It's going to be a slow process. I mean, it took me months to figure out how to keep my #Alby extension and regain my zappability using
@Rizful.com .
This is to no fault from either
@Alby or Rizful.
I hv very small windows of clarity and this limits my ability to progress, but I have stubbornness on my side!
It also took me months to reorganize & file last year's #taxes. I bring this up because I now have a tendency to chase down multiple #RabbitHoles while working on activities I dread. When I was young and healthier I was disciplined enough not to do so, but aging and feeling exhausted all the time throws that discipline out the window.
While researching a few things about taxes, I learned that financial gifts are not considered taxable income by the US IRS. If you are a generational wealth trust fund baby and you have friends and relatives who are rich enough to gift you one-time gifts of under $19,000.00 during the tax year, either party are under no obligation to report it to the IRS. As a recipient, you don't have to be a nonprofit organization either.
You may wonder, why she even bringing this up at all?
No, I'm not expecting any of you to #zap me $18,999.99 worth of #Bitcoin so I can live it up. I may still be quite a looker for being a middle-aged two-time grandma, but I don't think you'd want me a as your "sugar baby" if I will demand to be allowed to keep my hubby.
I'm mentioning it because #nostr and #zapathon have brought gifting to us #plebs without needing to have been born in generational wealth or having to prostitute ourselves to have a sugar daddy (like Emmanuel Macron & that 90+ yr old dude that paid for his presidential campaign and his wedding to his current husband...)
We can be extra kind with one another with zaps that aren't even "skirting the law!" We can gift one another with impunity!
A gifting economy is what #nostr can be. It already is that for many.
Why I'm mentioning a gifting economy as opposed to value-for-value is because the latter does fit the parameters of what taxable income is characterized.
In a circular gifting economy, YOU CAN OFFER something of value to someone or everyone in a community, but the reciprocity is voluntary.
It must be voluntary in order to be characterized as a gift.
As plebs, as nostr plebs, we are at a greater advantage to do this, grow it, and make it a norm. Why? Because out in the #fiat world platforms like Patreon, PayPal, Kickstarter, & even GoFundme deem your incoming remittances as reportable earnings (Except for "friends and family" side of PayPal).
Any and all talent CAN benefit from this.
This doesn't mean you couldn't sell or barter, but if we experimented with a circular gifting economy, we'd discover its pros and cons; we'd see what works, what doesn't and we'd find solutions as we go.
To render a system of death, thievery, destruction, & perversion; we need to pay our attention to where our energy will inadvertently flow-- that is to the creation of a system of life. If we focus on trying to destroy the unwanted, our attention & energy will flow to it. But if we focus on the advantages bitcoin, #lightning, & nostr have already brought us, we can then worm our way thru the hard clay ground and erode away the clown world house of cards by, literally, utilizing their own rules to our benefit.
I look forward to building my website to make it easier to navigate, to make it more me. To make it a portal, an insight into my #hallucinations, daydreams, hopes, escapes, etc. A web space to showcase what I want to contribute to this phenomenal community of individuals who actually want to live life and make the world a better place than how they found it.
I will try to also post whatever i can as frequently as I can here.

I'm semi-nomad & without a #studio at the time during my current circumstances (contributing to my exhaustion and slowness of progress), but I'm hopeful that soon I'll have a space to work on my artwork again. This will translate into plenty of works, illustrations, watercolor paintings, digital gifs of my illustrations, picture books, stationery, & greeting cards. I will eventually re-start my ceramic studio as well.
