Brain is fried and I'm out 15 sats but ppqai helped pop my raspberry pi cherry.
Not even sure I understand half of the steps or why they had to be done but it seems to be working. Guess it's not possible to access the Pi's desktop from my laptop's browser like I can with Start9?
Note to self: order one of those micro HDMI adapters because this headless stuff is a whole extra level of confusion.
This guy might have come in handy the other day when I had to try to retrieve my abandoned mower from a hateful swarm of trespassing yellow jackets ๐คฃ

Extra sats for not forcing me to open this in a separate app. ๐
How cool would it be if the V4V artist could embed their new track right there in the nostr note used to announce its release? You could listen and zap without leaving your feed.

Makes you wonder how many people out there got gold-plated door stops ๐คฃ
"I told ya when you got the [gold] bar to paint it black and use it as a door stop. No one would ever know."
My zaps are small because I follow the Jack Mallers rule: "Spend less than you earn."
Break this rule enough times and even Bitcoin won't be able to save you.
Is it possible that something about the electronics in noise canceling bluetooth earbuds further enraged the attacking swarm of yellow jackets?
The vast majority of their stings were to my ears despite my arms, face and neck also being exposed.
ChatGPT thinks it was just coincidence but I'm not so sure.
Watching a CBS news clip about the Tilly Norwood A.I. actress controversy.
First thought was: "Wait until they use A.I. to replace news reporters."
Second thought was: "Maybe they already did." ๐ค
I'm too much of a flawed human to resist the temptation to endorse and contribute to the mass slaughter of yellow jackets.
Honeybees would do well to vacate the area because I'm past the point of compassionate discrimination.
Cold enough this morning to fire up the Avalon Nano. The miner itself started fine but the app struggled both to find it and maintain connection to it a few minutes later. Public Pool did confirm that it's hashing even when the app couldn't find it.
You can type the displayed IP address on the miner into a browser but all that does is display a QR code for you to scan with the app. AxeOS web interface is definitely the better experience for beginners.
Unfortunately, it seems like the Bitaxe community is focused more on efficiency so if USD-per-watt initial investment cost is your main concern, the Avalon wins. I don't think it's currently possible to get 131W of heat from a collection of Bitaxes for anywhere close to the price of the Avalon Nano.
I don't know who these people are that have nothing more important to worry about than whether their reviews are getting noticed but Amazon keeps asking if I'm one of them.
Amazon, do you ever wonder if one of the reviews was posted by the account holder's spouse, child or elderly parent?
Judging by the contents of your "How about another look" emails, obviously not.
