@ODELL @MartyBent In Sv2. A miner making their own templates broadcasts their own block and submits to the pool. The miner must have a node to make a block template so they can broadcast from that node and the Pool double taps. As for DMND, they run PPLNS-JD. Which is similar to TIDES from Ocean but accounts for block template fee variance. If miner A has a juicy fee block and miner B has an empty block. Miner A is rewarded more of the fee revenue (weighted), but everyone shares the subsidy based on shares submitted. It's one of the newer accounting schemas for mining, iiuc.
