@yumyume is a Nostr based social bookmarking tool, just got a flavorful update with performance optimizations. This release named โSmoked Salmon & Dill Cream on Blini & Lemon Zest Refinementโ features a lighter logo, smarter relay handling that disconnects inactive tabs to save resources, and a faster data-fetching system using a custom Vanilla JS implementation for real-time updates. The concept is from
@Jurjen de Vries.
Additionally, Yumyume is preparing to migrate to NIP-01 and kind 39700, following its integration into Pinja (
https://www.pinja.in/) by
@Sep. Interestingly, both teams began working on social bookmarking around the same time, offering users multiple Nostr-based bookmarking clients to choose from.
Important: This migration will require users to manually transfer their bookmarks. They recommend holding off on adding too many new bookmarks in Yumyume MVP for now. A link to the old client will be provided so early users can copy and paste their bookmarks into the new version. More details will follow soon!
To support its growth, contributions to the
