Wen Lists on #nostr? Would be nice to have this at a deeper level than the client, don’t want to lose them when switching

Each new follower on #nostr means a lot more when you realize this might be the last online following you ever have to build

Finally got Weston Nakamura (Across The Spread) on the pod to talk about #Bitcoin and macro - specifically: - The Bank of Japan's outsized role on the global stage - What's the deal with the Japanese yen dying like a shitcoin? - How traditional investors see Bitcoin vs. how he sees it - Why everyone should pay at least some attention to markets (it's not as intimidating as you might think!) Let me know if you'd like to hear more about these topics and if you found this too technical, too basic, or just right.

The clickbait version of this post would be something like, a random BRC-20 Ordinal token (ORDI) is up almost 2,000% in 3 months, Luke Dashjr/Jack Dorsey's decentralized mining pool is censoring Ordinal inscriptions, is this the next blocksize war, what better time for an episode about Ordinals. I guess the non-clickbait version would be I had this recording from a while back and it was a good convo, also I tried to lay out the "money vs platform" debate at the start for newcomers, so hope you/your friends get some value from it. Also I wish I had Jan's energy.

I want just one inbox. One place where all my messages come in, regardless of who or what platform they're from (email, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, Linkedin, Slack, Signal...). I'm hoping that's Nostr, but I have to get all my contacts here first. And messaging is still wonky.

Apparently something like 80% of podcasts don't make it past 10 episodes. In celebration of that milestone, I chose my favorite clips from the first 10 episodes and put them together, along with some bonus clips from my interviews at #Nostrasia! I think you'll enjoy this. I'm still trying to find my audience (whether to focus on people who haven't seen the relevance for #Bitcoin to their lives yet, or people already into Bitcoin who are located in or just interested in Asia), but things will become more clear with your feedback as we keep going. Big thanks to my guests and all of you! Guests: @Daniel Batten @nico lechuga @koji @Dea Rezkitha @Louis @Graham Krizek @mcshane @cjasonmaier @Fountain @Nostriga Bonus Nostrasia interviews: @Max @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM 🌞 Nicolas Dorier, Daniel from @Wallet of Satoshi

According to my Spotify Wrapped, the top three music genres that Beyond The Price listeners enjoy are pop, j-pop, and rap.

Everyone on here probably already uses @Fountain to listen to their podcasts, but I got the chance to speak with @Nick Malster about how Fountain started and the big plans they have! Music, audiobooks, desktop, video... Timely as I believe they're rolling out version 1.0 soon!

I got to talk with the author of one of my favorite books this year! Jason Maier ( @cjasonmaier ) wrote A Progressive's Case for Bitcoin to highlight that #Bitcoin isn't just for libertarians or small-government conservatives, it's a tool for anyone who cares about justice, equity, and peace. He does a great job of laying out the environmental, social, and political implications and explaining Bitcoin as he goes - you won't be overwhelmed with information, but you will be astounded by our current system and the potential for change. So if you or someone you know has ever been interested in Bitcoin but turned off by some of the common Bitcoiner rhetoric, then this book is for you!
