I’m of the belief that the future is manifested from what is first born of our minds.

I can tell whenever a meal has seed oils in it because I have to cough to clear my throat when I’m finished with the meal. This never happens with seed-oil free meals.

After spending so long focusing on my diet of food and drink, it was hard to finally commit to disciplining my diet of information. But now that I’m largely on the other side of it, it’s amazing. Cutting out legacy news media was pretty easy, but deleting X and significantly reducing time on Reddit, Instagram, and even nostr took a while. I recently got a #Brick and I think that was the final nail in the coffin. It feels great when a friend asks me about the latest trend, fad or news and I can honestly say, “I haven’t heard about that. Can you explain it to me?” It’s a much healthier way to buffer and process information IMO.

I think it was in an old @Saifedean Ammous podcast episode where he said something along the lines of, “Every decade, there is a climate-based scam that goes around. Past scams include an upcoming ice age, destruction of the ozone layer, etc.” Once he shared some of the manic episodes of the previous decades, I could easily see how silly they appear today. It seems like it is usually a large-scale grift that often times politicians lean into. Sometimes, it’s rooted in a small bit of truth, but it becomes severely exaggerated in order to appear like an emergency to capitalize on. You can see the recent grift now in hindsight with ESG companies/funds, non-profits, and political talking points. I don’t claim to be an expert in meteorology or climate science, but a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a critical-thinking lens certainly helps. Now, as we see the “global warming” scare has not come to pass (e.g. ice caps remain, Florida beachfronts properties are not consistently submerged, etc.), I see the goal post shift from “global warming” to “climate change”. Under climate change, a significant rise in temperature is not required. Instead, natural disasters are exaggerated and blamed on “climate change”, and historical evidence is masked in order to hide the fact that natural disasters are actually not increasing - these things naturally ebb and flow throughout Earth’s history. One last thing I want to mention: in the current two-party system, it usually naturally occurs that one party leans into the scam, and the other rejects it. I don’t side with either party, since almost always both parties lie in their own way. There’s grift to be had from both political stances. It’s simply Game Theory playing out.

Reading a hard copy of The Anatomy of the State by #Rothbard has been really thought provoking. One idea that came across my mind today is to revisit the programs and ideas in my mind that came from state propaganda, and steadily working to dismantle them in my mind. A key trigger point is if an idea induces feelings of fear. For example, if an idea induces a fear response in me, asking myself is this fear logical, and what would things look like if I lived without this fear?

Listening to this story from Darryl Cooper was both eye-opening and an entertaining story. It made me realize that government and corporations importing cheap labor to undercut the existing population has been happening in the United States since at least the 1920s. It’s not new.

Spending a lot of time working on my house lately and not as much time on social media. Finished my front walkway with brick. Working on my mini front porch and finished raking the limestone screenings for my back patio. Also got a new fridge today! Infinite projects.

I’m starting to see a ramp-up of integration of sketchy crypto services and financial instruments that used to be pretty isolated to the crypto-space, get integrated into the mainstream financial sector. For example, E*Trade is advertising crypto on their homepage, and Zac Prince and Pompliano are back from their BlockFi disaster with a similar offering via GalaxyOne. Still sketchy, but somehow they’re backed by FDIC now. 8% yield on stablecoins never has and never could go wrong, right? (Micro)Strategy is no exception. Having been around town a for a little bit now and seeing the cycles of grift and corruption, I have started to theorize about what’s happening and what’s to come. Obviously, there’s grift brewing - Trump and his cronies are leaning into the scams and grift in the crypto-space, so I expect that to proliferate while he’s in office. But I have a working theory that this integration of sketchy crypto into traditional, FDIC-backed finance is a purposeful, planned demolition of parts of legacy finance before the Hegelian “solution” sweeps as CBDCs. People like Epstein manipulated markets just like this and profited on the swings.

I remember hearing Ray Dalio talking about how he’s shifting investments toward China and people including myself didn’t really understand it. But the more I see and learn about China, the more it seems actually alright and pretty cool. The government, just like the one we have in the US, is a different story, but the people and things they do seem pretty cool.

Finally finished my first deodorant stick from @AU9913 (Ink Blot Farms) and it lasted me at least 8 months! Did the job, good ingredients, and accepted bitcoin. If you get back into making it, I have some feedback id be happy to share. The sticker and logo are awesome. Going to try out some deodorant from @SoapMiner now. So far, so good!

I remember Anthony Pompliano doing something that made me trust him less, but I can’t remember what exactly it was. Was it the usual shitcoinery? Or did he lie or mislead about something? If anyone knows or remembers, please remind me.

Seeking peace instead of riches was such a nice mindset shift for me. I like surrounding myself with people who are of the same mindset.
