I'm using GrapheneOS on a pixel device. I have a major personal issue with it. We need a NON-GOOGLE device that supports BTC. We need a simple, affordable device that is not major cell phone native. Just a device that is not even natively built for the purpose of being a cell phone, rather a device made for messaging and transacting.

On the topic of "how do we trust hardware wallet/signing devices/companies"... Maybe eventually we can start to localize these companies into real local communities. Bringing the trust to a local company as opposed to a company far away with people whom you've never met... I think this is what seedsigner has in mind.

Pretty sure when I was learning how to use the Sparrow Desktop wallet about a month ago, I accidently sent funds to a test wallet rather than my official wallet. And of course I didn't backup this test wallet because I wasn't going to use it, just wanted to see how I could create a wallet directly via sparrow. And, I learned that when you reopen sparrow, all the wallets you've imported will remain in seperate tabs on the top of the app. When I finally went to send funds to my official wallet, I think I must have accidently copied a recieve address from that test wallet, which was also on mainnet. I since then sold the laptop I was using, so there's no way to just reopen the app to get those funds, lol. And I can't get them now because of course no backup was ever made. Lmao. Bitcoin is truly unforgiving. I accept my lesson. I was eager to start using sparrow and bitcoin and apparently, I was overly eager, lol. I think it would be very helpful however, to have an option on Sparrow to toggle automatic wallet opening upon app-restart. Because I'm 99.5% sure this is what happened in this situation. Had the app not have saved my loaded wallets, I would have had to manually reload my OFFICIAL WALLET that I KNOW I BACKED UP, and in a sense would have been FORCED to double check the wallet I was selecting to recieve the funds. It would have actually been pretty failproof at that point for me to copy an incorrect address and send the funds somewhere I did not intend to. Will someone who knows someone working on sparrow relay this message for me? I would LOVE to have a feature for toggling auto wallet loading after app closure to help mitigate potential copying of, in my case, test addresses. I know this feature may not be used much, but maybe it will? I think it could have helped prevent me - as an eager beaver ready to stack sats - from copying the wrong address as from the wrong wallet. Thank you. Everybody's in a rush The money is unjust We've forgotten who we are Degraded, low and lost The food is poison now The airwaves loud as ever Where do I go, to nourish My aching soul Homes not built in harmony A kitchen where no one cooks Internet and telephones Pixels deadening brain cells, now Alcohol, sugar and sugar and sugar Soybean and corn surround these towns They export their crop, no it doesn't feed the town 9 to 5's and a whole lotta lies About what wealth is and where it comes from Divorced from nature How will we remember? Lonely days and lonely nights In these far reaching rural places Quiet nights and delightful days Feeling fine at sunrise Feeling strange by dusk Rolling Rolling Rolling Through the mystery of life

I left the country (United States) for the first time last winter. Spent over 5 months in Costa Rica. Somehow got in online conversations with @paulkeating while I was there I left Costa Rica both completely orange and purple pilled. #shortstories
