To all the #bip110 supporters currently being mocked and ridiculed: this is a necessary part of the process. The new coin needs to be built by a small, dedicated group of people. Those who are too attached to their egos or BTC balance will be unable to participate

It would be perfect if the new coin is so toxic that exchanges and businesses refuse to accept it. That would force its supporters to build a new economy without relying on any existing institutions of power, which would give it real strength and value. “no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”

“Fix the money, fix the world”. Bitcoin is a technological fix for money, but it has to be part of a social revolution to really be effective. We have to start transacting with and becoming economically dependent on our communities. The first step is being part of a functioning community, which at least in this country most people are not. But the currency has to be community owned and maintained by regular people to match the energy of the environment it’s operating in. That is not Bitcoin at all, which is why I support a chain split. Over time we’ll show what makes a currency actually valuable

Thank you Big Bitcoin for forcing all of the actually principled people into a corner, where will be forced to work with each other to come up with a coin that will ACTUALLY resonate with people. Nobody actually spends bitcoin, so it has no value. A coin that people spend will be the ACTUALLY valuable one, and that takes people not positions of power and privilege

We think we fear death, but really we experience and appreciate death all the time. Anytime we have a realization or gain a new perspective on something, part of us dies that allows us to have new thoughts and become closer to our real selves. There is no new life without death; everything would stay locked in a less-than-ideal state. We should welcome death and appreciate the new life it brings #morningMeditation

We think that life happens one day at a time. The reality is the sun is always either rising or setting. There is no such thing as a day. Life is a continuum #eveningMeditation

Ideas are the true leaders of social movements, not people

The great thing about #Nostr and Bitcoin is that nobody’s voice inherently matters more than anyone else’s. The best ideas will always win in the end. People with power hate this

True leadership is acting on what you feel internally, without regard for the external consequences
