Alright, having received no response from any members of @Umbrel ☂️ support in their Discord server for the last 3 days, I'll put the question to the #Nostr community instead. Anyone running an #Umbrel ever tried to update an app and have it sit at 99% for HOURS until you finally decide to reboot your Umbrel, only to have that app show as "Not Running" and you can't interact with it at all through the GUI? I had this happen with NextCloud last week, and still haven't figured out how to resolve the issue. Looking at the logs for NextCloud shows the following error: nextcloud_app_proxy_1 | Error waiting for port: "The address 'nextcloud_web_1' cannot be found" nextcloud_app_proxy_1 | Retrying... The above just seems to endlessly repeat. Looking through the Umbrel OS logs for "nextcloud" returned the following result: Mar 03 20:30:28 umbrel dockerd[503]: time="2025-03-03T20:30:28.630296620Z" level=error msg="[resolver] failed to query DNS server: 1.1.1.1:53, query: ;nextcloud_web_1.\tIN\t A" error="read udp 10.21.0.31:44480->1.1.1.1:53: i/o timeout" Anyone have an idea of what to try in order to resolve the above? #asknostr

Is it just me, or is it nearly impossible to get a timely response in either the @Umbrel ☂️ Discord server or the #, Umbrel community forums? Is there a more active community of Umbrel users here on #Nostr by chance? #AskNostr

Now that I have done two #Nostr reviews for Android apps, I'd like to review something for desktop or web. Any suggestions? It must be in a production release, not alpha or beta. It does not need to be a full fledged client, much less a Twitter clone client. It can be a tool, an other stuff app, or a relay implementation. Some ideas that come to mind are: - Coracle - Gossip - Shipyard - Haven Relay - Npub.Pro - Nostr.Build Please let me know what you would like to see me review, either from the short list above, or your own ideas. All #Nostr apps where a user is expected to log-in or sign any event with their private key, should support NIP-46. All Nostr apps on Android should support NIP-55 in addition to NIP-46. All Nostr web apps should support NIP-07 in addition to NIP-46. We need a local signing standard for iOS similar to NIP-55 for Android. Is that part of what you are working on @Terry Yiu ? NIP-46 should be the standard, and other options available based on the platform. Not sure if bare nsec login should be entirely deprecated, or just strongly discouraged at this point. Open to be convinced either way. Anyone have thoughts on that? #asknostr
